Portaviva is a European Oak engineered wood flooring featuring an ABCD (Character) grade for a natural and varied appearance in a herringbone pattern. It is supplied pre-finished with a Matte UV Oil finish for durability and a natural look. The planks measure 5/8″ thick, 4-3/4″ wide, and 23-5/8″ in length, designed specifically for herringbone installation. Engineered construction allows installation over plywood or concrete subfloors and supports floating installation methods, including use over radiant heat systems.

Portaviva is supplied pre-finished in a Matte UV Oil Finish.

Installation methods vary depending on wood format and site conditions, but here are some general guidelines:

Engineered wood can be installed over plywood or concrete subfloors.

When planks are particularly wide, gluing and nailing is always good practice if possible.

Floors may also be installed using the floating method. This method is recommended for installation for over radiant heat systems.
